“Promoting oneself on the job market… that’s something I’m going through right now. I find it quite terrible that we’re being categorized by these kinds of things. I always kind of have this guilt of not doing enough, that I should promote myself more, that I need to compete against others. I chose studies that allowed me to learn more about society, thinking “oh, I’ll do study socio-economics, the history of economics, environmental science”, stuff like that. But the problem now is that I know too much about society, about why it doesn’t work, and all. Go try and promote yourself on the job market after that [laughs]!

Between having to survive, having to find one’s place in the world, and following one’s personal moral injunctions… The problem is that this kind of market logic is everywhere. So, we’re kind of “oh, ha, ha, what can we do apart from burning banks and parliaments… [laughs]!” But I don’t want to this because I’m not a violent person… so we’re kind of stuck [laughs]!”
