“The fashion industry is a very special industry that I grew up in, that I love and respect. It’s beautiful, you’re surrounded by beautiful things. It’s very attractive, very aesthete. Maybe I don’t have the stomach for ugly things (laughs)! And it’s not as superficial as people do think. We all have to be dressed from head to toe. And it gives millions of people jobs. You know what I mean? It’s a serious business!

I have a faux fur business, meaning everything is produced at a real furrier in Paris, it all looks real, but its faux! Nobody did nice faux fur, and nobody wants to wear real fur anymore, so I launched this business! I have only a winter season, that’s my problem. Honestly, I’m chilling during spring and summer. Then I give everything I have and by the end of march I’m a zombie.

The hardest thing is the lack of sleep. I have kids who come to bed every night, sometimes three, four times. So, it’s very wild at night. This is the hard part, juggling between the kids and the business. We’re not superwomen (laughs)! I have to rent a studio and to move there, and leave my husband with them (laughs)! No it’s all good, I’m not gonna complain. I have a cool husband, healthy kids and a good business!”
